Thank you to everyone's donations, 5K and 10K participation, volunteer efforts, and sponsors for this year's event-it was definitely a success!
With your support, you will be helping seniors receive a vital program which provides them with parish nursing care, flu shot clinics, and health education offerings.
 
Since 1996, the Walker Methodist Foundation and TRUST have provided parish nursing in south Minneapolis. A parish nurse functions as a medical and spiritual resource for health and wholeness. Services are provided free of charge to clients who do not have the resources to receive one-on-one home contact. Through home visits, the parish nurse saves medical costs by recognizing serious symptoms, averting hospitalization, sustaining independence and care giving, increasing understanding of medical issues, and providing advocacy for those unable to speak for themselves.
