Building Remodel Project

Please excuse our mess as we update our building this winter. Crews will be cutting away brick, repairing the siding, and installing new exterior windows. Watch the website for updates and pictures of our new facelift.

OLLI Program Partnership

Hazel Ridge is partnering with OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) in the new year. OLLI is a program at the University of Minnesota College of Continuing Education, and is comprised of a membership based community of older adults in the Twin Cities.  OLLI courses are taught by volunteers and cover a broad range of topics (click here to see a complete list of courses offered). Hazel Ridge will be hosting an upcoming OLLI course which residents will be able to attend for free.

Health Monitoring Program

Hazel Ridge offers Health Monitoring programs to residents for only $11 a month. This includes three quarterly visits and one annual visit from a Registered Nurse. These visits are to address health concerns, obtain vitals, update medical and emergency information, provide health care counseling, and assess any other safety or service needs.

Wii Bowling League

The nintendo Wii is an interactive video game system. It is a fun and easy way to get some light exercise and socialize with others. The Wii and projection system were purchased through donations from the North High School Honor Society. On Wednesday afternoons, Hazel Ridge hosts bowling tournaments for residents, family members, and North High School students. The common area is turned into a virtual bowling alley. It is easy to bowl with the motion sensitive controls.
