Reverend Darin Easler, M. Div., BCC
Darin has been with Walker Methodist since 2013. He was raised on a family farm in northeastern Iowa and holds a Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University. After serving in parish ministry in southeastern Minnesota, Darin continued on to Clinical Pastoral Education in the Twin Cities and in Atlanta. He has provided ministry within several churches, hospitals and hospices in both Minnesota and Georgia.
Darin’s main responsibilities include providing pastoral care and support to residents, family members, and staff. He enjoys facilitating grief and bereavement education and support groups, preaching, leading worship services and devotions programs. Darin leads with heart for listening and empowering others, and feels blessed to accompany others in the midst of life’s changes, challenges and celebrations.
Though he can be pretty serious, Darin loves to laugh and enjoy life. When he’s not at Walker Methodist, he enjoys watching college football and basketball, singing, dancing, photography, gardening, landscaping, and anything involving the outdoors. Darin would like to be known as someone who meets others where they are in life, encouraging them to be themselves and to live their lives as freely and fully as possible.
