Malcolm has been with the Walker Methodist family since March of 2008. His previous job experience includes being an Activities Director for an Alzheimer’s Center and a Director of Activities for a Memory Care Community.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education and a Masters in Music Performance. He was honored with the Teacher of The Year award in 1989 and the Excellence in Activity Programming award in 2002.
You can find Malcolm planning and executing appropriate activities for residents. He enjoys using his musical talents and skills to delight residents and also loves being able to give support and care to residents who need it. His greatest passion is to get as many residents involved in activities as possible and to bring smiles to their faces.
Outside of Walker Methodist, you can usually find Malcolm at the gym. If he's not there, chances are good that he is off traveling and exploring new places. In his spare time he enjoys volunteering at Feed My Starving Children. At the end of the day, he would like to be remembered as someone who had a vision and made a difference.
