Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the race start?
Both races begin on the road next to the Lake Harriet Bandshell parking lot. Look for the banners. The announcer will begin asking runners and walkers to line up approximately 10 minutes prior to race start. The 10k starts at 9:00 am and the 5k starts at 9:05 am.
Can I use a jogging stroller?
Yes. We ask that people with strollers start in the back for both races to avoid any mishaps.
Are there water stations?
Yes. There are two water stations. One at Minnehaha & Lake Harriet Parkways and one at the finish line. For runners and walkers of both races, this means there will be a water stop approximately every 1.5 miles. Bottled water is available after the race as well.
